Build a $1M Business Without Burning Out
There are three types of money: 1. Cashflow, 2. Wealth, and 3. Enterprise Value.
Everyone loves to focus on the first two without thinking about the third, which is where fortunes are made. If you switch the order and think about Enterprise Value first, you have. shot at building something that can set you financially free for life.

After listening to your book during walks with my dog, I've been binge listening to your content via podcast and: 1. Think you have some GREAT info and opportunities. For me, this is all in the future as after going through two start-ups I am broke A.F. x-D. 2. You've also been very candid about the emotions around the entrepreneurial process and your personal journey. In short, awesome stuff. As others state, I too, am baffled by why you don't have millions of views and likes. I'm sure you're doing the work to change this. I've jumped ahead with this video, but you previously mention that you are struggling your contribution to the companies with whom you work versus the possible reward. One thing to say about that: Sean Parker, of Napster fame, helped move Marc Zuckerberg's "The Facebook" from a college kid's project to a real company - sound like a familiar concept? Because of that he had a 4% stake in FB worth somewhere around $5 BILLION (less now as he has cashed out some and donated a lot, good for him). When the average income in the U.S. is ~$38K, if you can help someone make $6 Million and you take...? $2 Million (or whatever the ratio is), you have earned every dollar. One last small thing: I've tried contacting your organization via email and a DM via Instagram to point out an error you have on one of your web pages. Your info is too good to make anyone have any doubts about your stuff because of a stupid error. Don't think I can paste the link here. Let me know how to give you the info. And, you stay classy, Mr. Moran!

"You're going to lose alot (They said)...and I did (Mike said)!" Mike Chang Stage 1: Victim Mentality Stage 2: SelfMade Mentality Stage 3: Internal Vulnerability Stage 4: External Victory My biggest takeaway is that you can't escape WORK... either working on you, your job, your business, your subconscious mind, your feelings, your selflessness, your family, your health, your wealth...you gotta work 'til you die...when you try to run from the work that is needed you end up in a dangerous place where you might wish you were dead. Matthew 16:24-26 King James Version 24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. 26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Im about to retire from law enforcement after 20 years and still too young to sit around doing nothing. I also ran a small business for 8 years to get business experience, but i shut it down because it was too successful for the amount of side job time that i had available and it required expansion. So now im about to dump a lot of money into an enterprise that doeant need me by design, but helps the maximum # of people in society. I will be dumping all the profits back into the business, because i dont need the cashflow. Will use a C corporation for growth and for exit. Will probably create secondary companies for the main corporation to sub out work to and take advantage of the IRS foreign earned income exemption to pay no tax on that portion. 0 tax on the first $108,000. I have already acquired the foreign permanent residency status in a territorial tax jurisdiction for any off shore subbed out labor.

I inherently love the idea of building high integrity, high trust relationships. What I still have friction with (and I sense @ryandanielmoran does too) is that when there’s money involved, especially thousands of dollars, it automatically affects integrity. It can’t not. We believe in Ryan’s endorsement of the most expensive bread in the world BECAUSE (at least in part) there’s no financial incentive. I think about AG1 and Huberman and all these other influencers and what a clusterfuck that has become and really I feel a deep sense of caution. Because as Ryan says over and over, trust can take 15 years to build and one sketchy interaction to dismantle. I also acknowledge that in an economy where creators put out free content, sponsorships and affiliations are ways to monetize and pay back for that time. It’s just that it muddies the water. I’d much rather pay someone for their course or their own merch or product when I love them and want more. Because their interest in it is super clear and transparent and I’m getting THEM (not someone else who may or may not live up to expectations). I guess what I’m saying bottom line is that incentives work both consciously and subconsciously and so it can become a quagmire real quick. And it may not be worth the risk.

This is very affirming from all the spiritual practices I've learned and read. Mindful meditation and listening have been instrumental for my growth. I've always loved learning about people and their interests, likes and motivation. I've never had a hard time with the people person part and getting to know audience' it's the other stuff I don't like/can't keep up with and I can't hire people to handle those things right now, but it'll happen. In the meantime I'll continue to focus on my peeps :) this was a great show! I'm happy he agreed to the interview.
